AN ACT relating to children; repealing a provision authorizing specified minors to consent to tobacco cessation treatment; repealing a provision authorizing vaccination or medical treatment of a minor child without parental consent as specified; and providing for an effective date.


WFA COMMENTARY:

Wyoming Family Alliance supports legislation that ensures a parent’s right to know when their child is vaccinated or treated.


WFA UPDATES:

2.19.23 – Unfortunately, this important parental rights legislation died in committee on Thursday in a 5-4 decision. It will remain an important issue that must be addressed in future years.

Along with you, we have noticed a new awareness among parents over the last several years regarding the powers that schools have assumed over the children of America at the expense of parental rights.
