At-the-Door Price: $35 for individuals; $60 for couples

Tickets include admission, breakfast, lunch, coffee, a pie and ice cream social, and all summit materials. Five sessions will feature various Wyoming leaders and speakers from Alliance Defending Freedom, Family Policy Alliance, Wyoming Family Alliance, 1st Amendment Partnership, and Christians Engaged.  (See bottom of page to purchase)

Below is a partial line-up of speakers who have specific expertise in the areas they will be addressing. Additional speakers will be announced as they are confirmed.

GREG CHAFUEN | Alliance Defending Freedom’s Center for Public Policy | Senior Counsel
Greg Chafuen crafts legislation and advises government officials on policies that promote religious liberty and other civil rights.
Since joining ADF in 2020, Chafuen has authored state and federal legislation defending fundamental civil rights. He regularly provides testimony and legal analysis on how proposed legislation will impact constitutional freedoms and advises lawmakers and policy organizations on the importance of laws and policies that protect First Amendment rights.

Prior to joining ADF, Chafuen spent three years as a white-collar defense litigator at a prominent law firm in Washington, D.C., and one year as a law clerk to the Hon. Alice Batchelder on the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Chafuen earned his J.D. from Notre Dame Law School, graduating cum laude in 2015. While at Notre Dame, he served as president of the Notre Dame chapter of the Federalist Society.

   
JOSEPH KOHM | Family Policy Alliance | Director of Public Policy
Joseph Kohm III, Esq. leads FPA’s policy strategy, provides policy and legislative expertise, and drafts and advocates for pro-family legislation at the state and federal levels to release Biblical citizenship.
Joseph is a U.S. Army veteran of the 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) and a graduate of Regent University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Washington, D.C. and the State of New York. Joseph’s legal experiences are in commander-directed Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) investigations within the armed forces as well as anti-trafficking in persons (human trafficking) legal efforts, both in foreign and domestic jurisdictions and states. He worked as a Regent Law Center for Global Justice intern at the Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) outside of Jakarta, Indonesia, where he operated alongside Indonesian and other Southeast Asian lawyers and law students to combat the spread of illegal trafficking in persons.

Before attending Regent Law, Joseph graduated from Virginia Military Institute (VMI) as the highest performing English Literature major in his class. He played on the Ice Hockey team all four years of his cadetship and captained the team his senior year. Joseph still enjoys reading and sports as his favorite hobbies, especially surfing and paddleboarding in his beautiful home city of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

 
BUNNI POUNDS | Christians Engaged | President and Founder

Bunni Pounds is the Founder and President of Christians Engaged. She was a political consultant for 16 years – once leading a firm with 32 clients and 9 people in her office. For years – she worked with Members of Congress running their campaigns.

She then ran for Congress herself in 2018, becoming the only woman to make the Republican Runoff Ballot in Texas out of 6 open seats and the only person in the US endorsed by Vice President Mike Pence during the 2018 Primary Season.

Though she came up short – God has been using her over 20 years of Christian ministry experience and political experience to lead this national ministry today. Christians Engaged has been in more than 125 churches since its launch, securing 50+ ongoing strategic ministry partnerships, has over 200,000 Christians in their voter mobilization communication system reaching all 50 states, and has had over 2,000 Christians take one of their long-form classes. Their goal is to grow toward engaging 1 million Christians by the 2024 general election.

A graduate of Christ for the Nations and Dallas Baptist University – above all, Bunni loves Jesus and loves sharing the gospel with anyone who will listen – from the halls of Congress to her own hometown.

Bunni has been married to her husband Tim for 28 years. They have 2 grown sons, both married, and two precious grandchildren.

 
LANCE KINZER | 1st Amendment Partnership | Director of Policy and Government Relations 
As Director of Policy and Government Relations, Lance Kinzer works with legislators, representatives of diverse faith communities, nonprofits, and public policy groups to advance religious liberty legislation at the state-level. Together, they formulate and implement legislative strategies that fit the specific needs and political realities of each state.
He testifies frequently before state-legislatures in furtherance of religious freedom legislation. He has on-the-ground experience in more than 20 legislatures, and has played an important role in the passage of over 15 pieces of state religious liberty legislation. These laws include state Religious Freedom Restoration Acts, and protections for religious college student groups, faith-based child placement service agencies, parental rights, and workplace conscience rights.
Prior to joining 1AP, Lance served for 10 years in the Kansas House of Representatives and was Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee from 2009-2014. He authored the Kansas Religious Freedom Restoration Act in 2013, the Kansas Healthcare Rights of Conscience Act in 2014, and more than 30 other pieces of enacted legislation.
Lance practiced law for 20 years. He litigated at every level in Kansas state courts and served as Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Kansas in 2005-2006. Prior to entering private practice Lance served on active duty in U.S. Army JAG Corps.

Lance resides in the Kansas City area and is a graduate of Wheaton College in Illinois and the University of Kansas School of Law. He has been married to his wife Michelle, a high school math teacher, for 27 years. They have two grown children both of whom are in graduate school, one at Reformed Theological Seminary- Jackson, the other at Wheaton College.
